With donations starting at just \u00a39, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EDUCATE A CHILD FOR A MONTH.<br><\/strong>Just \u00a39 will fully support one child\u2019s education for one month. This includes tuition and books \u2013 and in Ethiopia, it needs to cover food and clothing too. If you could provide \u00a39 each month for a year, you would be providing one child with a formative experience that will be life-changing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PROVIDE A TEACHER FOR A MONTH.<br><\/strong>With a gift from \u00a360 to \u00a3120, you can pay for the salary of one teacher for one month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FEED 500 CHILDREN.<\/strong><br>With a gift of \u00a3120 you can provide one sack of \u2018Tef\u2019, the local grain, and feed 500 children for 6 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TRAIN A TEACHER.<\/strong><br>With a gift of \u00a3200, you can train a Montessori teacher and provide all the necessary classroom equipment and teaching resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BUILD A NEW CLASSROOM.<\/strong><br>With a gift in the region of \u00a320,000 to \u00a333,000, you can build a classroom from scratch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But there is no such thing as a small act of generosity where these children are concerned. Your contribution, at whatever level you feel able to make, will have a real impact on people\u2019s lives \u2013 quickly, cost-effectively and directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, if you are a UK taxpayer you can boost the value of your donation to the charity by 25p for every \u00a31 you donate through <strong>Gift Aid<\/strong>. The Jean Grove Trust is able to claim this direct from HMRC out of the tax you pay for the current tax year. All you need to do is to complete a Gift Aid declaration with your donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW TO DONATE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method 1: Direct Bank Transfer<\/strong>. Regular gifts are the core of our annual grant giving programme which enables the schools to plan ahead and deliver sustained provision. The best way to make a regular gift is to set up a<strong> regular payment (standing order) with your Bank<\/strong>. In this way the Trust receives the whole amount of your donation with no deductions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With most banks and building societies you can do this online or over the phone.
